I've read some poor reviews of this place on here but my experience was a pleasant one. We entered before lunchtime and were greeted happily by the owner who chatted to us for a while. Then we took our seats in the back garden. Somebody came to take our orders after a couple of minutes and served us in no time at all. Everybody was super friendly and happy. The coffee was ok but the vegan choc/banana cake was amazing! I felt like buying and eating the whole cake right there and then, but I controlled myself and only had one slice. I'll definitely go back for more though. The garden is pretty and the interior is cozy. They sell plants at the front too which is pretty cool.

Went in today. Says under new management. The man who served us was so polite and attentive. We had pancakes, loads of Nutella and banana. The vegan breakfast (could do with another sausage or hash brown). Oat flat whites, super nice strong and hot. And a ginger juice, nice and fresh. Garden was quiet and good for the dog. Has so much potential, huge garden would be good for happy hour or renting out for parties.

The Green Room is... how can I put it? The place that's gone the fastest to the top of my list of brunch places in London. The place is absolutely beautiful: spacious, well lit, with a plant-shop at the front!, dog-friendly, with minimal but tasteful decor, ample chairs and tables made of old sewing machines. Delightful! The food is scrumptious. From brunch classics to hard to find combinations like quince pancakes. Beautifully cooked, well presented, very fast to get to the table and an explosion of flavour at every morsel. Local ingredients and in-house baked cakes. What else do you want? And I'm leaving the best for the last: the people. The staff is marvelous. I can't emphasise this enough: friendliest, nicest, most cheerful and welcoming people ever. Can't wait to go again!

We found this place when visiting Abney Park. We had a lovely lunch, salmon and chicken burger. Food was delicious, freshly prepared and hot. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Nice environment inside, in the garden and with the florist shop at the front. Toiket was clean. Good value for money. We'll definitely go back next time we're in the area, and happy to recommend.
